Committed to deliver quality and availability, RW are fully engaged on the premise to be pioneer in high quality network operations in Brazil.
Our business concept is supported by three main premises. First, be a completely neutral company. Second, supply only dark fibers, without lightening our fibers and third, without swap of fibers or outsourcing operation or maintenance. We are an infrastructure provider, providing dark fibers and ILA's (space and energy), with a focus on engineering. By not selling transmission capacity, we do not compete unnecessarily with our customers.
Brazil has a continental dimensions and a lot of infrastructure, provided mainly by incumbent operators, companies that were winners of the first telecommunications concessions promoted by federal government in the 90's. Since then, the market has grown, the demand for connectivity has been increased and more than five thousand regional operators, from small to large ISP's have emerged.
However, when there is a demand for infrastructure connecting cities or states, almost all operators can delivering capacity and in a few cases, providing dark fibers on the route path, but no one of them actually own the entire network route and many of Brazil networks are obsolete, deployed more than 25 years ago. It is a common practice in the telecommunications market to swap infrastructure, where operators swap capacities or dark fiber pairs with each other. In addition to this scenario, many of them outsource their field operations.
Faced with this reality, we chose not to change the dark fibers in any way nor to outsource our operation and maintenance, to provide an exclusive service to our customers, where they always know who is in fact the ownership of the network and who are the people putting hands on in network operation. Our teams perform weekly a complete site survey along the paths of our networks , acting proactively to avoid cut and attenuation events.
On this way, we construct networks thinking about the long-term, completely neutral operation, without competing with our clients.
